As we mentioned at the close of HIRECON24, we took a “wait and see” approach regarding the 2025 conference due to concerns about the economic outlook. Our priority was to avoid putting undue pressure on attendees, exhibitors, or the Association.
After receiving overwhelming support from both exhibitors and attendees in our surveys, we’re thrilled to announce that HIRECON25 is moving forward!
While we had a booking at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland, we’ve decided to postpone that venue for a future event. Instead, we’re excited to bring you a more intimate and engaging experience in Christchurch.

- Monday, 1st September 2025 – Opening Party Night
- Tuesday, 2nd September 2025 – One-Day Conference
Locations:
- Muy Muy, Mexican Restaurant & Bar, Central Christchurch – Start things off with a bang at our “Day of the Dead” themed party on the evening of 1st September at this vibrant Mexican venue.
- Haere-roa Event Centre (University of Canterbury Students’ Association) – Join us for a more compact and personal conference on 2nd September, featuring micro education sessions and a focused exhibition area to help you connect, learn, and grow.
